The Fox Fairy is an art gallery regrouping local illustrators and jewelers.
Founded in March 2015 ,after the owner’s job ended abruptly and her and her artists were left without a job and a place where they could sell their work ! Elisabeth had anticipated and already applied for a job, and 3 days after losing her job,she signed a contract and so the Fox Fairy was born !
The core idea of the shop was to keep her artists safe and to make sure to support them by having them get a higher percentage of the sales!
Afflecks sounded like the perfect place to start with as it hosts many of her favorite independent shops !

Elisabeth Neveux Illustration, A French artist inspired by fairy tales and witches. She is currently working on her Linocut illustrated book Hazel and Batcat!
The story will focus on how a little witch rescues a waffle loving bat winged cat. For the first 3 years running the shop, Elisabeth was mostly dedicating herself to supporting local artists, but by working with all these inspiring artists, she restarted drawing more and more! Inktober 2018 was a real break through for her, as she rediscovered her love of printing after a 15 years hiatus! She realized 31 linocuts in 31 days, and did it again in 2019! Her work is hugely inspired by the works of Alan Lee, Brian Froud, Mike Mignola, Enrique Alcatena and Gustavo Doré, But also horror movies. Every time she feels like giving up, she keeps going back to their beautiful books .
Most of her work is hand printed daily in the shop on luxurious mould pressed paper and French etching inks .
She secretly dreams to one day own a cute house with a workshop in the middle of a forest, surrounded by her cat Kitsune and many other pets!
