The gallery is owned and curated by designer and art director Johanne Fisher with a career of 18 years in the fashion and publishing sectors.
In 2017 She decided to leave the corporate world and start her own creative adventure. Showcasing and creating a platform for other Manchester Creatives. The Northern Quarter Gallery is a gallery and design studio on the 2nd floor, it maybe small but with a big Vision, very much part of Manchester’s exciting art scene.
Situated in the heart of the world famous Afflecks on the second floor. What better place for NQs HQ based in one of the most iconic places in Manchester surrounded by 4 floors of indie shops. It’s doesn’t get more Manchester than a gallery showcasing some of the cities finest creatives through design including Phoenix Phusion, Ben Sedman, Sketchbook Design, JS Willis, Sue Scott and CJ Taylor Art. multimedia, illustration and photography very much inspired by Music, youth culture, Tv, Film, architecture and of course the beating of heart of Manchester.
The gallery has been featured on BBC, channel 4, Money for nothing, Sky, Winkball and XS Manchester and the million Pound Menu! NQ Gallery is also an experienced pop up gallery, known for exhibiting collections at festivals, empty shop units, department stores and conferences and most recently it has taken up 2nd residents in a glass box on the side of Manchester Corn Exchange opposite the national football museum. The gallery proudly showcases a wide range of everything from originals, prints & greetings cards mugs, tote bags and coaster. What they get most excited about is commissions and creating bespoke designs. No brief is too small or too big! Since 2017
