Afflecks will be fully open, thats every shop open on Sunday 28th August, Bank Holiday Monday and Sunday 4th September.

We will open this Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday in celebration of the City’s I Love MCR event and Pride, we will also be open on Sunday 4th September for the Northern Quarter Street Party.

Come and shop! we will be open 11am - 5pm.

Friday 26th August will become Manchester’s official ‘I Love MCR’ day, a day when we can show everybody how proud we are of our City and how as a community we fight back against anti-social behaviour.

There will be lots going on in Afflecks throughout the day including the unveiling of the ‘On the sixth day God created MANchester’ mosaic created by Mark Kennedy from the legendary Leo Stanley quote and T-shirt.

Friday 18th August: The Three Minute Theatre: The live sketch show that brings a smile to the face of the Northern Quarter. Great new writing brought to you by the Ghosts in the Machine Theatre Company in the (not burnt down) 3MT, Afflecks, Oldham Street Entrance, Manchester, M1 1JG.

90 minutes of music, mirth and mayhem to start your weekend. Box office opens at 7pm - Show starts 8pm. Tickets £5. Refreshments of all kinds available from the Foyer.

People of Manchester are proud of their City and this was proven when the people of Manchester came together and united against anti-social behaviour.

The iconic ‘I Love MCR’ brand became a symbol of the Citys resilience over the past few days.

Afflecks will be hosting an ‘I Love MCR’ day on the 26th August and we would like as much participation from our supporters as possible, to ensure that this day shows everybody that we love our City. 

We want local performers, we want artists to paint on our walls, we want photography exhibitions - anything Manchester related - we want YOU to be a part of it.

Stick ‘em Up Art have changed their name! They are now called Kustom Korner!

They can be found in the same place on the 2nd floor offering you the very same service - T-Shirt printing, Art Work, Jewellery and much more!

As well as customisation, Cindy’s House now offers an alterations and tailoring service.

Cindy’s House can be found on the 3rd floor.

Hollywood Actress & Model Chloe Sevigny popped in to Afflecks recently and made quite a few purchases in Retitled Vintage on the ground floor.

Chloe is in Manchester filming a new drama for Sky, in the six-part skein, created by Paul Abbott (”Shameless”), Sevigny plays Mia, a contract killer with a secret: She’s a pre-op transsexual.
